Ok, cheers hessle.

Got my standard one off and offered up the rallye one but have to drill a hole through for the plug that goes in between the ports on the standard one..The rail of sensors which connect to the injectors that is. The standard one as its plastic has the hole already, the rallye one, being ally, doesnt..Doh!

Only problem Ive found so far though, should be in tomorrow if I can work out how all the pipes and sensors work on it!

Im gunna need a remap anyway, so might as well give it ago, as next is headwork and cam/pulley etc.

What u mean swap two wires matey?

So I hear mate. It WILL work! End of...everyone seems to give up to easily with them..

Update.. Its all on, but i think ive buggered the wiring - it starts and runs, but when u rev it up, it revs up then gets to 3-4K then dies...like its running out of fuel or being starved of air. I think its the wiring, or would the throttle potentiometer have anything to do with it (becuase the car does it with the potentiometer on or off..?)

shaggers_saxvtr

Its running like said above, rev to 3k then dies, but i took all the sensors off with nothing attached to the stepper, tps etc etc, and it runs exactly the same...
So is it an electrical fault?

shaggers_saxvtr

Right it runs now, but... where does the map sensor go? That was my problem, it wasnt plugged in but there is no where to mount it to on the inlet manifold. has anyone else doen this and if so where does it go? Done the stepper and TPS.

Thanks v much for all help so far
