I have had a knocking noise since i bought the car last march. And it i thought greasing the CV joints may help and it did a little bit i think but now i think it has gotten slighlty louder than before and i dont know what it is and its when accelerating into or out of corners. I am jacking it up tomorrow and i am going to make sure mounts are nice and tight and the wishbone bolts. Is there anything else i can tighen or look at? Can feel the vibrating on on the floor. I have tightened the bolts under the carpet a few weeks ago but will have another look tomorrow. Thanks for any help sorry about the Thread i know there are loads of these but cant find the answer. Cheers REP given

I've had this problem today mate, i had my driveshaft replaced and in the end i had it changed 3times due to faulty ones, i'm waiting now for it to come out of the garage! Apparently this is a common thing on saxo's according to the mechanic!

Havent got drop links i dont think so i have been told its a 1.1 1997. Where are the bearings and mounts i should look for will have a look underneath the car tomorrow. How much would two new driveshafts cost? and fitting as i dont think ill be able to change them. Cant get the driveshaft nut off lol.
