Not long passed my driving test and this is my first car. I have alot of plans for it but i guess it will take time. The main thing being lowering! needs doing badly lol (does it effect insurance?). So anyway heres a few pics i took today after i gave her a wash, couldnt polish her up becoz it started to rain :( but anyway....

That is sat really high mate!
Car looks good though, not overly keen on alloys, eye brows or meshed grill and I'd get rid of petrol cap then lower it.

Oh and another thing you asked.
Lowering does affect insurance, who are you with? You will find that most companies won't charge much more if anything if you are 40mm or under.

Its pretty cheap actualy. Its still on as me as a secondary driver, just not had alot of time to change it yet. I got a few quotes though and it sounds about £1200 all in. The Car came as u see it not pretty much, not done alot to it but planing on so in the nest few weeks.
is it me or is ur exhaust too short?
I think its the body kit on it which makes it seem like tht ;)

im a newb to this stuff, pics of mirror caps? Yeh main thing i want to change, the height!

finished off the rims last nite, couldnt do the grill because it seemed a little fiddly to put the mesh grill back on. Any ideas as to the best thing to use to put it back on once i have sprayed it?

Now all i need is the chrome citroen badge and im sorted :) If anyone has one then PM me please :y:
Anyone think a blue sunstrip would look good on my car? Im not keen on the idea but could be persuaded otherwise, made a photoshop thread to try and get the image of what it could look like.

Take off the brows on the headlights... And don't put chrome surrounds on, they look gash.
Mozza
16th July 2007, 21:07
fair play, going to change the number plate tho its a bit dull. Brows will come off once the morrettes are on dont worry. Lowered is next priority tho which will either be in the next month or sept depending on how much my insurance decides to bum me wen i to re new it.

Ok so after a long long time of desperately needing to get rid of the clown interior iv now finaly got a new set thanks to L1UKEVTR. Just the ones i was after and goes well with my all black & blue theme :)
Got them last night, fitted the rear bench there and then, tonight we did the front seats along with the mirrors (story to follow). Gave them a quick hoover before but will get better pics up when iv gave them a good clean along with the rest of the car.

Opinions?
Ok so i wasnt in desperate need for mirrors, the previous owner had knocked the passenger one out of place and covered up the damage with insulation tape. I was reversing out of the drive this morning and just so happend to catch the passenger one on the gates to which it was lodged between it and.......well, took it pretty much clean off! So i got some replacement ones for now until i have the money for better ones, tbh i still think they look pretty nifty but want to go for the ones without the hole in the centre.

Anyway well chuffed with the seats, i think they should clean up nicely. The mirrors were an added bonus, just lucky i had the cash to get them!

Love the black wheels!! Could go to manic motors in East Boldon (newcastle/gateshead) to get it lowered £125 for the springs and fitting. Or I can get you a Shock/spring kit then you'll have to get it fitted.
Hate the mirrors but apart from that and possible rear lights its looking sweet!!
What make are the wheels?
