Please could somebody tell me the name of this sensor I thought it was fuel pressure sensor.

no sure on the the 1.4 but thinking its the map sensor???

erm what is a map sensor? i have this on my 1.4 too but dunno what it does :oops:

its the manifold absolute pressure a.k.a MAP sensor, it allows the engine ecu to read instantaneous pressure from the inlet manifold which allows the ecu to calculate air density and determine air mass flow rate. The ecu then uses the readings to calculate the appropriate fuel to inject
