What Would 15" alloys with 195/45/15 tyres look like on a non lowered vtr?
I want some 15's but don't wanna go lower than standard if i can help it.
I know mk2 vts's came with 15's as standard, what tyre size do they have?

vts came with that 195/45/15 iirc
they dont look to bad but would look better lowered
30mm on eibach springs would look nice

Well i was changing my motor for a focus, but that's on hold now for about 6-12 months.
I've always wanted black alloys on my zest vtr so i figured i'd get some in a ford fitment with spacers, so i can transfer them to the focus when i get it.
However the 195/45/15 tyres are no good on a focus so they would need changing.
This would be annoying seeing as the tyres would be fairly new (i only cover about 5k a year)
So i figured i'd just buy some 15's in the saxo fitment, but to save money i was considering leaving it standard ride height as i already find it quite a bumpy ride.
I thought maybe even some black vts wheels or my fave would be street octanes.
Your right though, it would look cool lowered, but at least if i bought the wheels i wouldn't look too stupid driving round unlowered.
Anyone got any pics of a vtr/s on 15" alloys unlowered.

Another Question,
Would the 15's give a false speedo reading? or will it be ok.
Sorry i'm a complete dim wit when it comes to wheels.

twill be fine.
The speedo already gives a false reading but will ever-so-slightly make it worse.

all speedos are out a bit anyway on a saxo the speedo is out by 4mph. 15" wheels will be fine.

so would the speedo read slower or faster than im going?
Obviously if its slower then you've gotta be more careful, or are we talking like a few mph.

My car is at standard ride height on 15's with 45 profile tyres (doesn't look too bad).. but mine will get lowered soon:

think it will be 15's then with 195/45/15, and i can always get it lowered if i don't like the look (altho furio Al yours looks fine to me!).
