Hellos,
After seeing manyyy Progression threads on here now, its my turn to start to make one I feel. Mine may not be as big or cost as much as others. But they are all changes that make the car feel my own more and that little bit differnet.
Stage 1: The start...
Ok, so right, well my gran and grandad brough the car back in 2001, a year old, with 7,800miles on it, 1 female owner. Fully standard.
Last year, after passing my test in september (Also learning in the car with a friend who is a driving instructor). It was given to me as a present, of course given any car is great, but a saxo, with only 14,800 miles on it aswel! (My gran and grandad never really drove very far or often).
Pictures taken before any mods at all were done:

Stage Two: Make it my own
I left the car standard for a while until about 1 1/2 months later. The car still felt like theirs, I wanted to change it a little, to make it feel more of my own.
I first decided that the inside was ok, but a little boring. So I decided to spay the inside vents and CD player surround. Just to add a bit more colour to the inside.

After this, i noticted that black rear badges looked good on Posi blue saxos. so I set about sorting mine out vis advice on how to do it by Steve who also owns a Saxo Forte 1.1i :y:
http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q212/danwinxp/23-01-07_1517.jpg
So wit the rear badges sorted out, I thought that the front ones look a bit normal. So I did them white. (In the picture, the front badge looks normal but it was silver before and is actually alot differnet in real life).

I will leave you all now with this and update tomorrow with other small changes I have made to the Saxo and changes that are planned for the future...
Steve.

Imo i think you should keep it nice and subtle, nothing over the top like lexarse lights, big body kits etc.

Part 3: A few more small mods here and there...
Ok, so with a few small mods done to the outside and some small ones inside. I decided to have a look under the bonnet. With it being a 1.1, there is not much really to do to it to get any extra power without spending £££ and it really does not get anywhere.
I looked under the bonnet one day and decided that the mainfold cover was a little tatty. So the next day, I took it off and gave it a good sand down and a spray. I decided on Glossy Black to give it a bit of shine.
http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q212/danwinxp/30-01-07_0819.jpg
I was happy with this result and have left under the bonnet for a while now until I get round to getting a panel filter and better pipework for the airbox and also a ECU cover.
I now decided that I wanted to try and make the car look a bit more "sporty" without looking chavy. So I invested in a rear MK II spoiler that I fitted on my birthday 2 weeks ago.

At the same time I picked up a set of blue door mirrors (Thanks to beastgtir :y:)
http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q212/danwinxp/PassengerMirrorCap.jpg
After this I decided that the 155/70/13 steel rims that it came with were far to small. I decided that I did not want alloys, try and keep insurence low and also trims are ok if you kerb them! lol. Thanks to John :y: I got a set of desire rims with trims (165/65/14).

With these rims fitted now. The car looked alot better I thought and I decided to spary my front capillars. Also yes you can see them throught the gaps in the wheels too!

Thats all for now really. Looking at getting some fogs fitted soon and then getting the sus sorted out and then get a get the small bits under the bonnet sorted :y:

Looks great. Wish I could be bothered to do something like that with mine. Though it's getting a bit long in the tooth now. Does anyone know where I can get some paint to sort out a couple of scratches in the right shade ? Poisidon Blue is that what it's known as ?

can get the paint from halfords. to get the paint to be an exact (or close) match it'll need to be blown in at a body shop. looking good there mate. ultra rears would suit and also smoked headlights ;)

Ok right, could more pics of the car as it now stands.
The nakedness is only for now, im going to respary the boot floor blue again and then put everything back in. Ive not hamerated the underside of the car inc. torsion bars, traling arms and both drums so thats better for the winter.
Next is going to be upper strut bar, Raceland induction kit with green filter and then possibly... might lower the car 30mm allround, not to sure about that yet.

A nice 1.1 mate keep up the good work.:y: Have you had a set of MK1 smoked rears photoshopped in? I think it could look quite nice. No alloys? Is it still a 3 stud or four?
Why the Sport? :p

Thanks all, first of all:
Seatbelts are standard like that on the Forte and Furio, kinda certain model thing. Also the car is a 4 stud, its the 1.1 TU1 JPL enginer to, the silver top model.
No alloys at the mo, I prefere the 14" steelies than the 13"s orignally fitted. I do want somne VTRs at some point. I saw the SPORT badge of someone else on here, SaxoboyVTS I think.... I liked it do I brought one, did it black like my other badges, its only double sided tape anyways so easy to get off.
