NFU (National Farmers Union) - they insure public cars now :)
Shopping round for a quote on a Saxo 1.0 first 2000, Im 17 and not yet passed my test, but i was gettin quotes as high as £4,000+ but the cheapest was with Quinn Direct at £1,350 but i was askin as thoguh i had passed that week - I found that the prive doesnt change for a provisional.
Then i tried Direct line...£2,000(ish) that was for my own policy then if i were to be a named driver £1,300(ish). thoguht fk tht.
NFU - My dad has my car insured Fully Comp for himself, Im TPFT as a named driver, and can build up my own no claims. If i have an accident it wont affect my dads part of the policy. EDIT: Quoted £610 so i took it :p
Give them a try - Cant get an online quote but they were worth w8ing on the phone, plus they were very helpful and pleasant :y:
Hope this has helped some1
