Catchy title to get your attention lol ;)

Anyway, I've been deciding what to do with the "rear" of my car and just wondered if you could vote on some of these options as to which you prefer.

1/ Standard.

2/ Just Smoothed Bumper.

3/ Smoothed bumper and smooth boot lock panel.

last one looks the shizzle :y: you could deseam the bump strips to match the smoothness of the rear bumper

Was thinking that might be a bit "too" much but I'll have a think about it. Have got a quote of £190 for the rear bumper and £160 for the boot so I'll probably be doing that in the next month or two. :P

then obviously the exhaust needs sorting as it sits at some gay angle at the moment and was toying with a custom exhaust with 2 exits.

Yep, liking that - Bets bet is to have the rear panel smoothed then leave the standard bumper as it is (otherwise your have to do the front to match) then add something like a custom dual exit or simpley mod a Scorpion dual exit to fit yours :y:

I'd say just a smooth rear bumper, but delocked boot aswell. Or maybe just a colour coded lock.

samcook
16th March 2007, 10:30
only problem with the 4 pic is that the number plate doesnt have a proper place to go and looks stupid just stuck too the bumper!

could always get the recess from a 106 bumper and bond it into the saxo one :y:

does look like it mate

totally agree, your car looks SQUI-WIFF to f**k, front wheels look huge, back look tiny, and it looks slightly cork squed. dunno maybe just me !!

it's just you. All wheels are the same size and the image hasn't been distorted. It's just a visual effect as front wheel has round arches and rear has flat.

Robb

last one does look smooth although plate postition ruins it.

if your smoothing the bumper is there no way they can make a recess somewhere for the plate?

Predator_R32
16th March 2007, 11:46
well the plate has to be on the rear by law :y:

GrantW

You could make a holder for the plate inside the rear window. Someone posted up a pic of a bodykitted blue sax a while ago, was pretty horrid but it had a custom number plate holder hanging inside the window.

ChrisJ

106 style recess is a must, if that gets done, it will look so much better.

to be honest i don't normally like the totally smoothed look, but after seeing Jim's option i'd go with that all the way

I don't like smoothed boots generally but your car looks awesome with the smooth boot. Not too keen on the smoothed bumper, unless you smooth the side strips as well.

I would hide the exhausts personally.

djrem
16th March 2007, 16:05
hide the exhaust.

Yeah i reckon thats gonna be the next big thing.
It looks well tidy.

very euro
