my idea is
a 106 gti front on my mk1 vts
obviously im needing
wings, slam panel, cross member, bonnet, headlights, bumper
would it be a esy bolt on job, very handy with spanners but wanting a new look ... what do you think

yes chassis is the same but with different body panels
think you could put a front end on but wouldnt be a simple job

not a big job that though ... what do you think on the looks,

well if your putting wings on then maybe it will work, im just not sure it would match with the side panels on the door
i think the best thing to do is to get fron and rear bumpers and get the arches to blend in with them, then a bonnet slam panel and headlights and it might work but it wont be an easy job will be a custom job

the only thing that wouldnt match up is the arch trim to the side skirt
but will all the wings just match straight up and bolt on

you may have to drill some holes as i dont think the panels will use the same mounting point.

no i meant use the saxo arch so it blends into the 106 bumper

it would be easier to get a 106 and change its boot and rear lights to a saxo.

Mate this isnt hard to do
Fit the front slam panel, bonnet and bumper - that'll give you all the mounting points and front end look you want
Arches - put 106 gti ones on and just bond your saxo arch extensions to it
They work quite well with the 106 gti front bumper
Checkout www.10sax.co.uk - its my mates site and the gallery has pics of a 106 with saxo arches but 106 front bumper
It looked awesome!
