I think its the alternator belt, used to happen when its very cold when I first started it like a lous screech
Now I just hear a constant noise like a really sqeeky belt
SUre its the aleterntor belt
How do I tighten it?

there is a bolt on the alternator at the bottom, loosen it off and use a bar or something to pull the alternator back and then redo the bolt up simple. To test if it is the belt spray some wd40 on it while your running if the noise stops straight away then thats your problem.

I have this same noise, seems to stop when the clutch is down.
Possibly cambelt?

if it stop when the clutch is down is most liely your clutch release bearing.

Aka thrust bearing... live with the squeek mate. mines the same and the box has to come out to do anything about it!!

Yer is a pain in the arse job to fix, will last for a fair while with it making that noise.

I notice it when my foot rests on the clutch too
is it baD?
