Hey Guys,
Just got the car back from its first service since i've owned it, and have been told that the disc's and pads need replacing all round. Been wanting to upgrade them for a while now, so i guess this is the best time to do it.
Just not sure which brand and type to get? dont want to upgrade any bigger than the standard size thou!
Any recommendations?
Cheers.

The 206 GTI is 266m discs. Think these fit under 14's. The 206 GTI 180 is 283mm same as 306 GTI6 and wont fit under standard rims.

There a quite alot of options that you can go for here.
Standard discs and pads....job done.
For a little bit extra money (£30 - 40) you could get a 266mm setup.
Lots of cars and vans from the PSA range have the calipers that you will need.
The only hard part is getting the correct offset discs for the calipers that you get.
I have a 266mm setup on my VTR under the standard VTR rims that came from a 2005 1.9D Berlingo van. the calipers are the Bosch type. I had to grind a small part off the carrier so that it didn't fowl on the suspension strut, Very easy to do.
In my opinion this would be a very good upgrade for you considering that you need new discs and pads anyway. if you need some advice then PM me and i will try and help you.
Start by looking on ebay for people that are breaking berlingo vans, peugeot partner vans (they are the same), 306 xsi/s16, some 307's run 266mm but i couldn't find any on ebay that where being dismantled.
Citroen xsaras, C5 i think some C2's run 266mm and has been mentioned the 206 gti.
my setup cost me £140 and i fitted it myself, which is very easy to do and i am no mechanic by any means.
Any questions PM me, i will be happy to help mate.
