stupid code pad!!!!

I got the model with the keypad immobaliser and yesterday it decides to stop working, so in the heat of rage a smacked it, and now it works.

Should i be worried and does this happen?

its probably just a loose conection in the keypad... i had one of them on my last vtr... and the same thing kept happening, u might aswell just remove it seing as theyre useless.

I AGREE, THEY ARE PRETTY USELESS AND IF IT'S PLAYING UP FOR A QUIET LIFE JUST REMOVE IT.

IT'S FAIRLY EASILY DONE, JUST UN PLUG IT AFTER PULLING THE KEY PAD UPWARDDS, AND TUCK THE WIRING BEHIND THE DASH

Unless u have an alarm, how can u call it useless?

IMO its more secure than a key-chip immobiliser, as sum1 can steal ur key! But even if they steal ur key with keypad they cant nick ur car.
