This world makes me so enraged!

Comic Relief has enraged me again. As I sit and watch the films of people dying, abuse victims etc I can’t help but despair at this world and what we have done to it. While children starve and don’t even have the most basic of what we regard as ‘human rights’ the government talk about their nuclear programmes. I’m not just talking about Britain but every country across the world.
Why are we not united as a PLANET to solve the most basic of issues? If we all put down our weapons, talked and committed to feeding and clothing every man, woman and child we could truly be one. Religion has us arming the world, does it really matter what God you choose and whether you believe you are right or not? Put down your damned weapons and let’s make this world one we can be proud of instead of hiding behind budgets, entertainment and politics to avoid doing anything!

Its great people give money but that is money that has all ready been taxed and you can bet your sweet ass it will be taxed again as it leaves the damned country.
So to the government (nay…all governments) I scream ‘we are always doing are bit, let’s evolve past the point of weapons and start making the world right. Stop putting a pound sign on every damned thing in this shit-tip of a world. :wall:

I do wonder sometimes myself.

Sadly in the 3rd world countries corruption is rife (far more than in western countries) and thats the problem. the greedy at the top in these countries just cream the large profits that they make, therefore very little is filtered down to the poor. It goes round in a circle, these people in power were probably fairly poor when they were young and so want the best for themselves before they worry about others. iand the cycle continues

I agree a cracking post by MTR but obviously we all know that none of that is going to happen any time soon.

However, IMO I think Britain is right to keep it's nuclear weapons.

I think the world is as dangerous as it has been since WW2. So many unstable states/countries going nuclear I think we need 'em as a deterrent.

I agree, but the bad side to the argument is 'opinions'. I don't see the UKs population of chavs donating money, nore do I see the many Power hungry countrys we have in this day and age lose there status.

Tis a shame though, as an equal word would solve so many things but that could cause other problems with the resources in the world going so fast.

There will Always be people that will take advatage of others - And some people who just dont want to be helped.

As long as we as a county carry on keeping an open boarder open it wont be long till we will be needing places like China and the US to do a Red Noise day for us!

I strongly beleive we as a country need to sort our own problems out before sorting out other countires problems.

We have a NHS service which is dying on its feet, some of us may not receave a pension when and if we ever stop working and a housing market that is on the verg of crashing and then the Bank of England want to push intrest rates upto 8%

Its about time we looked within rather than looked out.

After all how long does it take people to sort themselfs out, if African nations stopped killing each other and spreading aids like wildfire they would be able to pick themselfs up and get on with running the country - The British empire left inferstructor and techonlogy for the African nation to have its own Industrial Revolution but they are too stupid to sort themselfs out.

Africa could have been the next China but China got it right and are now the next SuperPower
