One of the bulbs that lights up my speedo has stopped working. Anyone know how easy it is to change?

Think you have to take the housing out etc. bit of a job but not to hard. You could always get some dials like Predator vtr has whilst you at it :P

hi all,
i've just removed my speedo (because of the Oil light isn't work ->when the car is in ignition, and when it's running as well) - but i was wondering that there are no bulbs in the speedo - the led lights are on the mainboard.
I want to ask, how can i replace it, or how can i test this led?
Thanks in advance!

Mk1 or mk2 saxo?Mk1`s have bulbs mk2`s have led`s.No need to take the steering wheel off just take off the plastic column shrouds, then undo the 3, 13mm steering column bolts.Drop the column down slightly which gives access to all of the screws.

LEDs are cheap for these you get a stop of 20 for a couple of quid delivered, the link below is to a guide in changing bulbs:

A thin soldering iron and tweezers is handy.
