right people im getting my VTR lowered tomoro 40mm on spax springs, what are the reccomendations for lowering the rear keep it 40mm all round or drop the rear 50mm??

It would look better in my opinion to lower the rear 50mm, but this will give you problems with handling. I'm also lowering mine on a 40mm kit but I'm just going down 40mm at the back as I don't want the handling to suffer. So it's up to you, just depends what you'e looking for really, looks or performance.

shouldnt lower the rear moe then the front as it wrecks the hadeling of the car

40/40 imo mate, you won't be dissapointed with the difference in handling, provided you have a proper kit and aren't lowering on standard shocks!

definally keep it 40, maybe 45.

keep it proportional i.e. 40-40 as the back-end sits higher as from factory spec
