...the saxo (desire model) with the 106 interior or the standard Desire interior??

This for both normal people markets and saxo enthusiast markets...

naaa, well i keep an eye out for VTS's every now and again (mainly after having a ride in Matt's car) but then I remind myself it'd be pointless as i'd still drive as slow as i do now.

Hmm. I really like your sax but you never seem to impressed with it. If you did get something like a golf TDi youd have the economy, a decent amount of power to play with, top build quality. And you can make them look stunning quite easily

dont get me started on the VTR, worst car of the range imo.

for the insurance of my car +£50 i can get insured on a VTS.

I know two are sold, and ones a 5 door which you prob wouldnt want again but i reckon they all look awesome, low running costs, reliable, never die. Im tempted myself tbh those rims are the sex

Why is the VTR the worst car in the range?

I'd get the VTS mate, you won't use it's full potential but it's great car to have ;)

owrite sayer!!! my ex's mum(she's cool lol) has a golf tdi in dark blue with 18s lowered 30mm,amd chipped, light smoke tints, remapped ecu boost turned up,was bought like this it is funny you say about the vtr as this golf dosnt need to even try to leave a vtr behind and it also gives a vts a run for its money, another plus side to this car is that it is so comfortable to drive and returns such excellent fuel economy it is unbelievable(and this is a tuned 1) imo a golf tdi is the way to go you wont regret it by a long shot!

Are you seriously considering change? Have a look and see how much you could get a Furio for? VT kit already-which is nice. Although id love to see an amazing Mauritious Blue saxo- HINT HINT

I can see that going down like a sack of spuds Ads

chill homies. No im not getting rid of the paxo, i think this might have been blown out of proportion a little :err:

I was weighing up whether or not I could get rid of the Desire interior I still have (also have a spare VTS interior but thats out of the scope of this thread), not whether or not to get rid of the paxo.

The Vdubs... personally ben I would have had the 5-door :bored: again... nope not because of the doors, but it had the 6 speed box.

Personally, the VTR is just :bored: it sits in the middle of between the range topper and furio/westcoast.

Its neither a quick as the VTS or insurance friendly as the Furio. Ok people can turn that round and say 'its quicker than a furio and cheaper to insure than a VTS' but for my circumstances the insurance on any of the models isnt a problem....

As said above, I got a quote range from £340 fully comp for the 1.1 to £480 fully comp for the VTS. The furio was cheaper to insure than the 1.5D which was a bit wank but hey ho.

Havent checked the rep situation for the number of VTR owners i've upset yet:wacko:

I won't even go into the Furio/VTR/VTS situation.

Sayer, don't worry, if you get a VTS, I'll instruct the mechanics at UPS to restrict it to lorry speed (56MPH), then you will be at home.

I wonder what the 0-60 time on your VTS would be restricted? NEVER HAHA!!!

do it man, lets have a mass-debate. Its only my opinion but im always open to discussion :y:

Luke

I don't want a mass debate mate lol.

You know most of us would go for a VTS if we could, but I went for VTR simply because of the cheaper insurance.

I'd sell the gti interior seperately man. Will make you more money. I would also ditch the vts wheels and sell them seperately aswell :)

Vtr/vts debate, i wanted something that was nippy, but couldn't afford insurance on a vts.

£900 on a vtr, £1800 on a vts. I'd rather have the £900 on going to see pendulum :P

If im honest the thing im most jealous about VTRs having instead of furios isnt the power, its rear disks. Id really like some rear disks, drums look gay. But performance wise, i dont think theyre worth the extra insurance over the furio as theyre not that much quicker. VTRs were about 600 more on the insurance for me. Im not slagging off the R, i just dont think theyre that rapid compared to the insurance hike.
