how do you fill the number plate recess on furio and where dose the lock go after ? and how easy is it to do i know it needs to be welded and i ave a bit of welding xperience but how do i do the rest.

DDP_19 i think it is has done it himself so pm him as he will be able to give you some advice and guidance on it.

Basically you weld a plate to the existing gap and then fill the gap and flush it into the bodywork. Then it is necessary to spray the area and then relocate the number plate

as for the lock, u just need to fit a solonoid to be able to pop the boot from a button inside the car, i'm doing mine so it opens when the rear window skoosher is activated, bcoz i removed it.

yeah, finished mine a few weeks ago, will post pics on here asap of it.

It is a lot of hassle, lots cheaper but a lot of hours and fiddling.

weld a metal plate over the recess, and then u will need plenty of filler and a good eye to get it the right shape. Be careful not to lose the line at the base of the boot cos it is very easy to sand down and lose the definition.

its a lot of time and effort but very rewarding. My view is that i would probably get it done professionally next time. Mines a quality job but its just the time and effort to get there.
