Well
my drivers side head light shines to the floor like a metre infront of the car, ive changed all the bits i can to try get it pointing higher but not happening
a friend thinks its had a knock on the side thats why its pointing to the floor, anyone have ne experiance with this? or know?
think i can take the front bumper off and just try and move it higher, maybe clamp it in the right place, the garage say it wont pass a MOT like that?

right ive had an idea!!!!
if the headlight is pointing down due to crash damage
if i get some chrome head lights (headlights and indicators) will they just fit into place and the light point in the correct direction and therefore avoid any cost in repairing the body work under the bumper? :) ne ideas?

Changing the bulbs wont fix it.
The silver reflective part of the light, the part which is like a bowl and reflecs the light forward (not the bit that people spray black) Its possible for this to become dislodged by impacts, happened to mine just from a pothole!
Take the main bulb out and put your finger into the hole so that you can see your finger if you were to look through the front of the healight. See if you can lift the silver reflective part up atall. if it does move, then it has dropped off its mount. Some wiggling and cafuffling with your finger should soo have it back up where it should be though.

the drivers side between the indecator and headlight there is a slight difference, wehen run your fuinger along u can tell its not smooth, but the passenger side is smooth all the way round, i know its had a crash on the drivers side wing, and have been told by a bodyshop that it will never be rigth unless i get the body work looked at, as it wont pass a MOT, so uim guessin the bracket it is on has bent, come off, or something so that is why the light is not sittin right, if i change the whole thing, get some whole new headlight sets could i not use that for support? im taking the front bumper off next week to get a better look at the situation and if i have issue will be posting images up here asking for help :)
thanks for the ideas ill do that 2night about the finger and tryin to move it :)

If you take the headlight unit off you can see all the mounting brackets. You might even be able to sort it just stacking a few extra washers on the bolt or something. Or make another bracket and fix it in place of the broken one.
Try fidling with that insert bit though, it might be that, like i said, thats what happened to mine and the driverside light only shone a few feet infornt of the car:y:

a garage would be able to sort the light out mate as it will fail the mot with it pointing on the floor
