View Full Version : 195/45/16 on a 35mm drop, ne rubbing?

a question on behalf of a mate (purely cos i aint got a clue), hes got a set of rims with 195/45/16s and is thinking bout getting a 35mm drop, will he need ne arch work done, if not will the front wheels rub on full lock, and will the back rub when theres 5 peeps in the car?

yes it will rub with it lowered even with no one in the car, im surprised it doesnt rub right now. Easily sorted though lop of the rear bumper bracket and a little bit of work at the front and it will be rub free even lowered and 5 up

i got 45 profile on a 40mm drop all round and not once have they ever rubbed!!!!! smileys/smiley2.gif

Mines were rubbing all the time when i first put them on, and they are 15's.

i thought my alloys were the wrong offset cause they rubbed on full lock at the front(195/50/15) although the tyres should have been 45's. How much does arch trimming cost so you could have 16's with a big drop?
