Well here she is, my Saxo Scandal 1.0! Im not going all out on it as its my 1st car, keeping it subtle. Main thing will be the ICE install, so have a look and tell me what you think :y:

K 1st things first is changing the seats because they were hideous, got some seat covers from motorworld, but when i fitted them i realised the pack didnt have the headrest covers, so taking them back tomorrow lol :rage: so just slipped them on quick to see what they look like, theyll look loads better when ive stretched them out and used the fastenings lol

P.S. the seat covers arent even attatched, i havent used any of the elastic, so there just sitting there, because i might be taking them back because the headrest covers are missing.
Look a lot better when there all attatched an taught, and VTS interiors on Ebay look a bit granny like lol

ebay you'll find one keep looking, even a gti half leather will fit, quite expennsive some as they are getting abit rare

K got a new set of seat covers from motorworld yesterday, with the headrest covers this time :rage: spent a good few hours getting them fitted right. Still need a bit of tweaking and once people start sitting on them they will take shape better.

Dude, clean the standard seats and leave them as is, there's nothing wrong in being different, we all got to start somewhere, I started with a 1.0L Metro, it was shit at every level but at least it was a car & got me to a & b.

From experience you cannot buy quality seat covers as attaching them to your current seats with string just does not work.
If you hated the colour/pattern on the seats "that much" why the hell did you buy the car, you've got to get into it everyday ffs, it would drive me insane.

well i would agree but id say a vtr can keep up to a vts for a bit, then a vts would take off about 70 :)

vtr/vts interiors are nice but its good to see someone doing it differently, and i bet there more comfortable then vtr/vts seats cos there is a layer of material on the seat because of the seat cover and so would be more comfortable to sit in!!!

they are well comfy mate :y: they got loads of padding and the front seats are almost bucket seat like with the extra side pads lol. ill keep them unless i come across something better. im buyina VTS or VTR in a year or 2 anyway lol

i had the same design seats in mine when i got it. they were crazy, and i loved them!
mine were different colours though - red, green and grey i think mine were.

i'd deffo keep them funky seats in for now though. they look in good condition too.

his interior came out o a 106 gti,you can get these but they quite hard to get hold of and expensive in good condition.

thats what i want mate :( when ive got more money coming in im looking to buy a new set of seats, probably the all black VTS or R interior. the covers i have on arent moulding to the shape of the seats as well as i was hopeing and driving round in this hot sun isnt good with the fake leather makes ya sweat buckets :rage:
if anyone has a god set of seats, all 1 colour though, ill have them asap :y:

If you buy a saxo interior, the seats will come with subframes, and they will just bolt straight in.

right it was a lot of work but with the help of some mates and men lol ive put me grill in, was just standard mesh bought from halfords and used a real strong adhesive to hold it there, totally changed the look of the front end so heres some pics :y: ....

VTS engine was £520 + Delivery. Got everything i need with it and a good service history

Sunroof is the only bit left thats original lol its seen alot of change.

Yes i am telling insurance, but what noone seems to strangely mention is that you have to tell the DVLA before insurance company will insure you (this raises questions as to how many people have done it all properly)

So DVLA know that im converting and they said they'll send someone out to inspect it when its done and change the documents officially, they will all then state that my car is a VTS and they confirm to my insurance that everything is legit

right alloys came and wacked them on, they kindly dropped some MGuard lock nuts in with the alloys too when didnt pay for them....not complainin lol choice of 3 stud alloys is poor, quite happy with these though, heres some pics....

i just went to the scrapers and pulled out a whole interior for just £48 for all door cards and seats got the belts too hid them in the seats got rid of the multi-coloured ones. now just looking for a vtr kit
