Not posted pics for a while as I know don't own a Saxo anymore. Currently got an Astra which is off the road currently getting a few bits and bobs done for Donny. I am planning to sell up in the summer and get another Saxo though, this time a Saxo VTS!

what u having done to the astra

Flushed bump strips, M3 style sideskirts smoothed into bodywork, flushed tailgate, number plate recess in rear bumper. When I get back from Donny will be getting the arches smoothed and the bumpers smoothed. Maybe some German plate too :P

liking all the smoothing

id take the spoiler off id leave the rer plate there and smooth all around the lock recess if you know what i mean

That was my original plan but just getting the tailgate smoothed now and got a number plate recess for the bumper.

Think I am going to leave the spoiler on, will be selling soon so the new owner may decide to change it a little by removing the spoiler etc.

Both cars are nice but not my taste.
For some reason the Astra screams "I ragg my car around with the family in"

LOL, just what you see around here like :p

In the continent they tend to leave the rear bumper, kinda going for the euro look! :y:

Is that Vectra wingmirrors on the Astra?

I remember your Saxo from the first Scottish Sax-P meet.

The car was showing at Donny at the weekend. Got some pics, ain't the best though but will get better ones soon.

I have shown how low the front and side is off the ground. The phone is slightly tilted but the phone is taller than the distance from the ground to the bumper.

 Now now Rushy be nice lol

I love that comment - I think 5door hatch backs are very hard to style correctly as you always compairing them to the 3door model. Some of the mods are well picked out like the GSi rear spoiler but maybe a slated grill would have been better and maybe a more OE factory look ie 5door GSi look a like would have been more suited to the 5doors looks.

But its clear to see you've spent alot of money onit and it does look nice just not my cup of tea, sorry

Be interested to see the result of the mods your having done at present tho :y:

personally i think tht astra is gorgeous, love the front splitter only thing im not really sure about is the alloys, what are they by the way?

DDC
13th April 2007, 10:49
Thanks mate!

They are League Alchemists with a diamond cut rim and spokes. If I decide to keep the car I am looking at getting some euro-ish wheels.
