you'll be fine mate dont worry about it. I was nervous before mine, i tend to get nervous about any kind of exam, but once i was in the car and got talking to the examiner i felt fine, was just like i was driving in my own car with my parents or something.
Just get a good night sleep and try not to get too worked up about it, its not life or death :)

Same time i had mine, all of my mates who had theres in the morning passed, but some of the ones in the late afternoon failed.... weird, but spose it means the earlier the better.

I am a she and i failed! i was going around a one way system when i took a left off it. But there was a wheelie bin lorry near my exit. The cars infront of me went round it so i did (slowly & checked my mirrors etc). At the end of the test she said that i forced other road users off the road WTF!
Yet if i had stayed behind it i could have been there ages and blocked the system. Also i could have been done for insufficent progress. Wat was i to do!

So they will sent a letter with a slot but i dont get a choice of time though

Thanks i will use that to push me on, i can't stop now just because i have failed once. Atleast i will have done it before on my next test and will know what i will have to do etc. And my family keep saying that i aint the first and won't be the last too. Bloody hell im sorry to hear it mate if you had waited you wudnt of got dun for insufficient progress, probably hesitation and they hav got bad judgement, i turned right into a junction before a bmw was coming my way but was missions away i turned, was down the new road for a long time n caught the sight of the bmw in my rear view mirror and i failed because i caused him to brake ??? Just check the internet for cancellations thats what i did all the time!

Apparently some guy got a serious for reverse park, apprently he left more than a parking space in between.

He asked the instructor why he failed:

"You left too much space, its meant to be for a car"

So this guy replies:

"I was leaving a space for a car, how do you know whats coming round the corner? The guy over there might be expecting a limo. Wet on for about 5 mins, examiner changed it just to get him out of his face lol"

Unlucky to hear, she sounds a right arsehole, so if you had done what she said and stayed behind the lorry she would of failed you as well. She sounds like she doesn't no what she is doing as how can you force other people off the road when they're aren't any.You can't win today can you, luckily on my test I didn't have anything like that. Hopefully you pass your next test and that it is soon as possible so you not that angry for too long.

Sorry to hear you failed, i failed my 2nd thest for the same reason as you but it was a gas van.
I was in a line of traffic, we all went around the van, i indicated, checked my mirrors and stuff, even 2 cars behind me followed.

The road is really wide so there was no reason to wait.
Got back and the sod failed me for it, said i should of waited.

Keep your chin up, i passed 3rd time even though imo i drove much better on my 2nd test!!.

Unlucky, I failed mine twice before passing, 1st time, admittadly I wasn't ready - my instructor never even told me how to hold the steering wheel correctly.

Second time I got 4 minors and failed for accidently hitting the indicator whilst going around a round about (indicating to go right whilst i was going straight) and even cancelled it a second later :@.

Third time I passed :)

It's really frustrating, that someone else made you fail - and not you, if that lorry wasn't there you'd have passed!
