something a bit different really, i did a very quick and basic sketch using two point perspective, one i had a line drawing i scanned it, i then used photoshop to apply textures and brush parts. then finally i posterised the image. what do you guys think

you take the line drawing then on a new layer you start adding textures from sites like this (http://www.art.eonworks.com/gallery/texture/texture_gallery_5.html) use the transform tool to get the patches to fit, then work on the back ground, the grass is one of the default photoshop brushes, make it bigger at the front and smaller as you go further away to create a sense of dept, i also blured the water as it goes back for the same reason.

once you have a basic block with all the textures start adding details like windows which are cut from other pics. some areas will need to be drawn in, like the hole of the bell tower. its relatively easy just a case of applying textures, start with something basic, and then work from there
