right had lower back pain (slight spazms) thats got worse in the last week, booked for a cairopractor (spelt lazily) today but cancelled apointment due to it getting better and me being really hard. was quite bad on monday but deciding to do my stretches i used to have to do when i had serious back injurey a few years ago, anyway its pretty ok now, so didnt go.
the question is shall i get it checked out or carry on stretching which seems to have sorted it or maybe have a check up. mercy very much

What was your injury? what is your lifestyle like - sat down for long periods etc? Low back where, just above the bottocks? centre or to one side? What movements cause it to hurt? what kind of pain is it? Is it constant pain? Is the pain localised to that area or do you have pain down one leg?
lots of reasons for back pain.... get it looed at - id advise you to have your posture looked at and start Pilates.

i was in a serious car crash when i was alot younger that left me with a pretty fooked back, i get the sort of spazems you seem to be describing... id get it seen matey.. also if your in alot of pain, get a small ball like a tennis ball or the likes and stand against a wall with the ball between your back and the wall and move around so the ball rolls around the area thats sore, it relaxes the muscle again.. hope this helps!

injury was basically a trapped nerve, bruised disc, something allong those lines.(couldnt walk or get of my bed for two days)
lifestlye is always active as im a builder which is where i did it. its pretty much centre, i actually pulled it about 6-7 years ago but left it then and when i went a couple of years ago he said from previous my posture was all out. pain was pretty constant and im pretty sure i could feel it down both legs not really bad though.
then as said i started my exercises from the previous time and the pains pretty much gone. if i carry on stretching and see how it goes will that be alright do you think as this is what i was told before or worth checking on it?

get it checked out mate, as said above it could be ok for a few years and then go tits up later on in life becasue you've been doing something wrong. i used to get lower back pains but reduced my weights at the gym and dont get it al all now so im slowly building them back up and seeing what happens
