leave it as it is, or move the chevrons to one side if you must mess with it

either leave it as there isnt really much you can do with it or buy a smilley one and mesh it etc ...

im sure iv seen one on here tho that hasthe slats taken out and i think that looks tidy.

If you do deside to have a go at modding the early Phase1 Grill try and pic a second hand one up so if it doesnt work then you have a spare.

Also why not find a later Phase1 smiley grill that way you can change them about as and when you feel like it.

Same really goes for the rear lights, I always recommend to people to hang onto or pick up a set of Phase2 standard rears again so when they feel like a change its just a case of digging em out :y:
