just got 25 playstation 3's in at work and only 4 pre-orders!! HA! is anyone acually buying these?

theyre so expensive i dont think there is enough interest!

im just loving my wii its the way forward ded cheap and real good fun :y:

I would like one, but cant justify the price at the moment. I'll wait a few months and see how much they are then. Although I get a nice £350 bonus on this months wage, but I may spend that on a few bits for the porter cable or the car.

yeah i think thats what most people are doing im gonna give it a year or so then see, the ps2 came out pretty expensive £400 (i think) now shops are pretty much giving them away!

Id get one if they charged realistic prices for the games, the console is cheap for what its got in it but when its a console and not a PC.... it seems expensive.

Cant justify having a 360 and a PS3 no point really.....So will stick with my 360 for now....although 360 needs to drop some new big game titles...In all honesty iv only enjoyed playing 2 games on it... Pro Evo and Vegas

the prices arent that high you just have to shop about, bearing in mind the cheapest blu-ray player is £900, to get a games console and full internet and the ability to rip music and pictures etc for half the price is quite good

im happy wiv my 360, to be honest i will prob get a ps3 but not till they are closer to the 300 mark, £425 for a console is madness, and if you gt an hdtv then a 360 has stunning graphics and the games are quality so i dont see the point of a ps3 atm, halo 3 sooon.....

when the new metal gear solid games comes out i'll probly get a ps3 although theres still a chance that it might be released for the 360

I'm sticking with the 360. The plan was to keep the 360 till the PS3 came out then sell it, but with the exception of Resistance and Motorstorm there aren't actaully any decent games out for the PS3 yet. Plus it's far too expensive ATM. Seeing as GTA4 will also be coming out on the 360 I doubt I'll be getting one.

PC World in Ipswich had pre-orders for 203..

I paid about £350 for my 360.. So I think the PS3 at £425 is reasonable.. especially as its a BLU-RAY player aswell, and the games are £40ish - same as 360..

AND "PS3 Home" looks fucking amazing ;)

I got my PS3 delivered on day of release.In my opinion it's definately worth the £425 asking price considering a dedicated Blu-Ray DVD player will set you back around 1K mark
