I know what you mean but at the same time having something to follow makes it become a task and can be offputting after a few weeks. how about just trying some of the reccomended foods by swapping them with crap (if you eat any etc) that you eat already. End of the day, despite what the pros will tell you.. you wanna put on weight, eat more food. Food permitting ;) (see recommended)

only thing i can tell you from my experience is try to consume 5-6 average sized meals a day. im talking 3 square meals then subsitute the others with a protein shake or meal replacement bar etc. its a real cunt to do it right since most of us live in the REAL world and have to work, but other than that its a no win situation.

Too true. Check out bodybuilding.com for mass gaining guides, they usually have some great ideas. If it's lean mass you are after then it's 5-6 meals a day with at least 1gram of protein per pound of body weight a day. And obviously some weight training is a must.

lol. another excuse i reckon. my mate works 6 nights a week 12 hour shifts and he manages fine. brings protein in bags to work and a shaker. brings cooked chic breast etc. just takes 1% effort and it can be managed

eat crap... i would say consider exercise aswell... you can eat to your hearts content, but consider what effects it will have on your body. As it was said, some weight training would also help

all im saying is that you have to make a concious decision to do it right and that takes dedication and effort.
