Two Weeks Off

two weeks off so i am going to start on the interior of my car. looking for any more ideas and answers to some questions i have got.

Spoke to someone on here who has smoothed the whole interior, have taken that idea and going to do the sameish in my saxo. I am going to retrim the door cards with a dark blue leather material and adjust the hazard lights and front heater switches somewhere else (need help in doing this if anyone knows how?). probably going to be the centre console. Going to fit a quickshift and change gaiters/ add gaiters to the handbrake and gearshift. Swapping the rather annoying yellow led in the light to a blue one. Also going to spray the trims silver and smooth the heaters into the dash. Going to make mesh covers for the speaker pods, buying new alpine or infinity speakers for them.

Any other ideas? trying to keep my car on the colour scheme of blue silver and black.

How easy is it to recarpet the car as the carpet at the moment is grey and time has taken its toll.

any other ideas please feel free to add. will get some pictures up if i get my comp back today.

recparpoetting... TAKES AGES!!! make sure you set aside a good few days... should be alright if you've got a free 2 weeks... haynes do a guide to recarpetting... alll in there... just remember the carpet goes all the way up under the seats, under the dash... EVERYWHERE! lol.

what length of carpet do i need?
