Thinking about getting one, worth telling insurance? is is classed as a mod?
Luke

I don't think you have to tell insurance as it won't be classed as a mod, BUT be warned you are 99% sure of failing the MOT as the wipers will go over it.

Erm.. I read somewhere to be legal it has to be less than x amount of inches didn't know about the wiper and the mot though..

Yeah I think that's probably right too.
My honest opinion is don't bother with one mate, probably cause too much bother with police/MOT test stations.

dont buy them from halfords theyre shite, they have creases in as theyre kind of semi rolled/folded.
go to a signmakes shop and get 2m of vinyl in any colur theyre 2ft wide so you can make 2 snstrips out of it! and it sticks a lot better than the cheap sunstrips you buy.

i remember fitting mine from a max power mag, it was ok until i added the max power sticker lol
there ok if there roled as you just apply soapy water then put it on and squeegy it or use a credit card, soon smooths it out :y:
then just tuck it under the rubber seal :)
