Which are they for my 1.1??

Also would 17" alloys be okay for it without any rubbing at full lock?

And how much of a lowering would i be able to get away with without rubbing? 40mm?

Wont be a 5 stud will either be 3 or 4 stud depending on what year the car was made. You will not get 17's on a flat arched saxo.

Think you need to find out more information about your car mate, as im sure the base models cant even have 15's on without a little arch work..17's would need alot of work. it will be either 3 or 4 stud wheels that you need, depends on how many bolts you have holding them on

Mk1 1.1's had 3 studs
Mk2 1.1's have 4 stud

17's definately will not fit on a flat arch model without some work (actually plenty of work)

Saunders 15s will fit on a base model mostly without any problem atall but it does depend on the offset- the only problem that occasionally occurs if rubbing on the rear which the cause will be the lip on the bottom of the rear quater panel that pertrudes inwards which the tyres can catch on

Also if the car is lowered this may have an effect

This lip can be easily rolled up (approx £20 per side) or theres no reason why it cant be cut off, just ensure that a coat of treatment for rust if applyed and protected properly to avoid future problems
