did you try hitting the other side with a big bar and 7lb lump hammer? that usually works but if not get some coca cola and wd40 and mix the two together in a pot and then use a brush to slap it all around the torsion bar ends/splines, keep applying it every half hour allowing it to have some time to work into it. then re try removing the torsion bars. if this fails then u can try using a blow torch to heat the torsion bar ends up and then try removeing them as when u heat it the mtal expands and sometimes this helps to unseise it.

mind if u heat it up, and dunt get it out and let it cool down the metal can get even tighter than it was in the first place, so keep tryin till it cums,im sure alittle heat on it and it will budge

WD40 wont work because its in that tight theres no room for it to work in. heat the chassis arm end up and bray the fuck outta it!!!

wd40 mixed with coka has worked fine on some of the torsion bars that i have done and i done a fair few now (17 to be precise lol) it helps coz it removes all the end rust and eats into where it can get. out of the 17 torsion bars i have done only 2 were free the rest were seised and most of them came free using a 7lb lump hammer with wd40 & coke pasted on the torsion bar ends. only 2 out of the 17 had to be heated

Because I am constantly taking the things out for nearly every rally, I have got some round bar machined to fit inside the splines, with a threaded bar in the end, so we can screw this into the torsion bar and hit seven bells out of it.

Means that you can stop worrying about damaging the bars or the car with a lump hammer!

why not just inset a 13mm m8 bolt into the thread and then hit it against that, thats what i do then throw the bolt away after

oh and here is the socket and bolt method for those who have not seen it

We also have a tube made to do the same thing but use the ratchet gun when stuck.
