for example, look at the pic:
http://cars.potn.com/images/imgreenforcedair.jpg
i not sure sure how the filters go on, or if there is a filter inside the funnell bit, etc, etc... is all so confusing... any1 had experiences with a forced air induction kit?

the green air filter is in the funnel
the funnel is mounted behind the grille . . .
the faster you go the more air is forced into the funnel
thus forced air induction . . . . . smileys/smiley4.gif
a noice throaty sound aswell smileys/smiley17.gif
you cant go wrong with them in my opionion smileys/smiley17.gif
also procomp make a mad forced induction kit,

if you want to lap up big power gain's smileys/smiley2.gif
i suggest you get a maxogen system . the foam air filter
is housed inside a protective carbon fibre cocoon to
reflect the heat away from the elment which can drain
power smileys/smiley3.gif ( it's like oz bmc kit smileys/smiley17.gif )
cold air is fed directly into the box by ducting,
from behind the front grille smileys/smiley2.gif
this system was specaily made for the saxo model's
so it's a direct fit smileys/smiley4.gif
i think you will agree it's a work or art smileys/smiley17.gif

i dont like the look of the saxo maxogen one purely because of that ducting, that would actually restrict the air flow due to all the ripples inside it, that one would work far better with some samco hosing and piping.
From the green picture aboe, the large filter goes inside the scoop and the smaller one goes on the engine breather pipe.

ah scott the man with the know-how...
do u reckon the chrome adjustable pipe that comes with it, will help overcome my problem with my air-con pipes?

i honestly could guarantee it mate it probably will if they say it will but i have never dabbled with the 206 and air filters so i really couldnt say either way.
Bite the bullet and do it, if it doesnt work send it back for a refundsmileys/smiley17.gif

Woohoo look at you all and your c-know how!!!! They all look pretty gross to me, Like i said onthe other thread, the samco hosing is ace and it really does not heat up, The pipe i have on there cost 24 quid so when i come back from max p i shall have some more installed. They don't do gold or i'd have had some of that. Only black or yellow. More smaco blue though me reckons.
I don't like those crank case filters on the saxo pics above. Will try to keep to the origianl sax spec if i can. Adn that has been recommneded by peeps too.
Never happy, i wonder if there is any way of increasing the noise of my kit??!!!
