Hi guys,
Thinking of upgrading to a full suspension kit, with a drop of 35mm all round, just wondering, will there be any problems fitting 195/45/16's ?

shouldnt do, but then each car is different in a way, some will get rubbing some wont, if it was 195 40 16 then you wouldnt, cant comment on 45s tho

Cheers matt, i am also the proud owner of a two tone saxo, but sadly mines the vrt, not the vts! Looking to go for a similar set up as you, what suspension kit have you gone for, and how low?

Right 30mm all round it is, yours sits prefect! Hows the ride quality and the handling? Also where did you purchase all your bits from?
Sorry for the millions of questions, just wanna get it right first time!
You many not be impressed, but remember you the lucky one with the vts lol

Have seen the pic with it sitting at 30mm, but with the standard vts rims. Looks perfect, personally im not a fan of the slammed lookanyway, plus handling and ride performance is what im after.

its expensive but very good kit, you could just use the gmc springs you get with the blistein kit, i sold mine as i wanted custom springs

Yeah, but its seems that the springs supplied are 40mm, am i correct? also have your upgraded your anti roll bars and torsion bars?
Yates

you can get either 40 or 50mm springs
40mm will still be fine
still on standard torsion bar and ARB, was on the look out for a 24/25mm arb but at the moment money is going onto other things so not looking into that
i have got uprated bushes all around and front anti roll bar mounts plus lower engine mount

45 tyres will rub on the rear bumper bracket and rub on full lock depending on the offset etc. All easy fixed by cutting or hitting whatever is in the way out of the way

:panic: lol Classic answer there Scott
So is there any clearance problems at 30mm on 16s and 40mm on 15s?

15s no probs going down 40 mm
16s you may still have probs on 45 tyres on 40s there shouldnt be any
