Who's got what? How good is it? How much did you pay for it etc? Tell me all you know to help me make a decision.

Thanks

Bilstein Tarmac Spec Group N shocks with Eibach springs..

I can think of anything as good and if it were my money this is the combination I would go for..

Hmm they are quite pricey though arent they? Ive just had a new box fitted and it cost me abit so was looking for something cheaper really, insurance also means i have no money lol, as im only 19 insured under my own policy on a vts.......but atleast its quick haha

Doh  I thought money was no object!

Personally rather than buying cheaper dampers I'd fit a quality set of lowering springs and upgrade the dampers at a later date.

the sportline ones sorry, they sound quite good -50mm etc, this would be on standard vts wheels with all tyres being 195/45/15 btw

eibachs will be too soft for them. get some faulkener customs if your getting the group Ns.

for an extra £100-£150 in price difference you might aswell save up for a set of billies or koni when the money is ready to be spent. only time i would fork out for budget suspension is when youre in my position, i have a 1.1 so no point getting top stuff. however it is still a full kit.

hmmm yeh, i was just thinking about just the eibach sportline springs with standard shocks for the moment? As springs go they are some of the better ones right? I know what your saying about just saving a little more but i really want to be atleast slammed for the summer even if i dont quite have the really good handling as well. Maybe just a spax -60mm non adjust kit?

Or i could sell something expensive and get the billies lol

the billies dont drop that much. going down that far will make handling worse. eibach wont go down that far either. depends what your after looks over handling.some eibachs or HnR springs and billie sports you will be flying round corners. i think Kam racng on here can sort you a price out.
then theres faulkner springs and group n billies, for the optimun handling

eibach do do -50mm sportline springs though? So you can drop quite low on eibachs right? I know it says designed to work with standard shocks but will it screw them over time?? They seem to be in good working order.

Anyone got a car with Faulkner springs. I try not to sell anything I can't give advice on or items that I dont believe are good enough.

I could do with testing a car to see if I should stock the springs lol

matt has. 170lb iirc. they are custom made . his are about the max poundage you can run on standard torsion bar before needing to upgrade.
so its not a case of saying have these springs with these shocks as there to the persons requirements. ie with people wanting to run 21,22mm tbars etc off the shelf springs arent uprated enough
