Cars f**ed just in time for Donny :(

Managed to knacker my car this morning... hit a big piece of metal in the road, by the time i'de seen it i couldn't get out the way, so ended up just catching it, but as soon as I hit it, my car started juddering.. then eventually cut out. Everytime i started it up, it just misfired... coil pack was loose from the engine, it didn't look too good.

Went back to the garage this evening, and apparently there's no compression, so it's a mechanical fault rather than an electrical one i was hoping for.. getting my head taken off tommorow so he can have a better look, but if it is bad i won't be going to Donny :(

if u got low compression its the rings, cyclinder walls, head gasket

Bummer mate!

If theres no compression you may of cracked the head gasket, knackered the piston rings or bent some valves. All expensive!

said it might be coincidence, but i find it weird that it happened straight after.. unless it just triggered something that was on it's way out.

I dunno, all i know is it's looking unlikely it will be shown at Donny !

first thing i tried mate !!!!

cus i hit it on 2 wheels it sent my car up into the air with one hell of a bang. i'm not hopeful it will be cost effective to get it fixed at the moment !!!!

Weird that, i know when my clutch exploded it destroyed my crank sensor and bracket which I thought was weird, i was even more gutted that i was stuck 20miles+ from home lol, mine didnt start cos of the crank sensor maybe its that?

starts mate, but it keeps mis-firing, engine is juddering like a bastard ! when you give it revs it just makes a mad tapping noise.. there's a lead that goes into the side of the coil pack, that was well loose, and one side was actually lifted off the engine. Not looking good !

didn't see anything under the car once it had been moved, and there was no oil spillage in the engine bay, oil seems fine so i don't think it's head gasket. Not sure about the sump, and no idea how long it's off the road for !

could be a sensor maybe fallen out or broke hopefully somthing simple
