lovely car mate, think they're about 110bhp off the top of my head, so they're pretty pokey cars, 100 x safer and more reliable than a saxo. Arguably not as much fun as a saxo, but it's a nice motor mate.
If you could get a set of CTR wheels on then it will look the tits too :)

sorry, Civic Type R

the sport is pretty much the same kit as the type r, think it's missing the front splitter though.. so with those wheels it will look well smart :)

Regarding the Vti Coupe and hatch,
VTI is fine but like all the Vtecs you have to thrash them. Everyone will tell you that but unless you've driven one you don't realise just how slow they feel when it's not in it's power band. Absolutely boring to dive and far from 'nippy'.
6th gen, 1.6Vti is 158bhp as standard but very heavy (over 200kg heavier than the Type-r EK9) and as a result no quicker than a Vts. Torque is non-existent in low revs.
However, once it comes on cam at around 5300 it comes to life and pulls hard right up to it's limiter at 8500 but how often you going to drive it as hard as that? Makes a nice noise as well but to be honest the novelty soon wears off.
Build quality is fantastic and you'll be amazed at how hard it grips when you're really pushing it. Breaks are good too.
Have a drive in one and see what you think, you'll either love it or hate it.
(Sorry for the essay....again!! )

yh that is true i have to say but its the japs showing off what they can do really when you think they have been in production from 1989 the b16 engines with the vtec, think what was about then nova or somthing
I got driven in my mates crx and fooking feels well quick but when i drove it seemed a bit slow. like my furio the worlds slowest car all my mates say its nippy. (or not).
the real power is from the best cars sore a bwm and a skyline have a race today and the skyline pissed all over the bwm and then pooed on it a bit more. im in love with skylines now
they are very good for 1.6 160bhp but has it downs i.e. insurance group 15

i think i know the shape you mean, someone at work has one in red looks very smart, as for the torque sounds right as on that other thread with the ek9 someone had it down as like 185bhp but like 118ft torque which is tuuuuuuuurd specially in relation to 185bh
