Drop links???

What are they? What do they do.

I've still got my 1.1 struts on with VTS engine and when we were fitting driveshaft, we split the ball joint boot. So went to buy another 1 and had a right carry on. The guy was saying I needed a VTS but I was saying i needed a 1.1 because of the suspension system been used. Then he started saying I should not be running the car like that.
He said, I should have VTS struts and suspension arms and drop links??

Is this really important to have this or does it make no difference. Do you get drop links when you buy struts?

shouldnt matter really, droplinks are what connects the anti roll bar to the strut bidy, on 1.1's the anti roll bar is normall connected directly to the wishbone if i remember correctly
