Hi all,

Was going to just get springs and lower 35-40mm but ive decided that if im going to lower it then i might aswell do it properly. As my car is a 1.1 it sits well high.

Im going to buy a full kit not just springs and i was just wondering that on 195/45/15 Avon tyres, would i be able to lower my car 50 - 60mm with just bending up the rear arch lip?

I know scott has had to have major archwork doing on his 1.1 but he's got 16" rims.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I cut the lip off totally, Only have 185/55/R14 60mm (ish) lowered and i dont get any problems at all.

Cheers guys! Im thinking maybe about 50 -60 mil because the 1.1's sit well high at the front but i want the car to sit level.

The only thing thats holding me back now is money. Going to buy the kit next month then get the labour work done the month after... Im so god damn impatient lol!

Thanks!

Tom
