Has anyone ever bumped into their old car, or had someone who had your car before stop you?

Was at this forest the other night and this 206 in the carpark flashed at me on the way out, thought nothing of it and drove on. Couple of mins later this car comes up behind me flashing so i thought thought...tosser lol. Then he starts indicating for me to pull over, well my next thought was its the police again so me being the law abiding citizen ;) pulls over. Pulls up beside me and it was the same car from earlier. Turns out it was the bloke who had my westy before me and he just wanted to have a little chat and see how it was doing! He even misses it...

Just wondering does anyone else do this/had this happen to them? Think I might check up on it now when i eventually sell it!

I was speaking to the previous owner of my new car the other day. Bought it from a garage but met him on the owners club forum.

Not seen my old Saxo yet, but I've been getting texts from people telling me they've seen it at the local cruise etc.

I'd never stop/pull over if a random car was behind me flashing and indicating telling me to pull over. It could be anyone and could have anything (i.e. a knife). I like my car a little too much ;)

Anyway... I remember stopping off at a kebab van and this nicely modified black Furio pulled up. I recognised the number plate. It was my old car. I spoke to the bloke and asked where he got the duplex exhaust system and for how much. He made up some story and was then a little "quiet" when I told him I used to own the car and I had it fitted... not him. Bless!

My previous black VTR was sold to a car dealer on Essex. God knows if it's still around.

saw my old escort 1.3 rst looklike about 5 months ago stopped the driver and had a great chat also he wanted to sell it back to me but i didnt have the cash :-(

I was told the guy who bought my furio wrote it off.

2 days later at work (120 miles from where he lived) i saw a smashed car on a trailer. Saw the plate and fort mmmm mi no that reg. Looked again and it was my old car lol. Nearly brought a tear to my eye :(

ma mum had a car and got rid of it to get a new one and her old one ended up round the corner from where i lived

actually bumped into my old 2.0 16v arden blue corsa 3months ago,the guy was at the bank so i parked behind it,had a chat about it,everything i had done to it was stil the same,then he took off with the front tyres smoking a little,i used to treat it so good aswell!!
