Paypal Claim

Right, i recently heard about Cocaine energy drink which is sold in America, so i had a few spare quid lying about so i thought why not i can sell it on UK ebay and make a lot of money, (saying that 3 cans were going for 15 quid on our ebay). So i browsed American Ebay and bought a crate for 57 bob including Shipping.

After 3 weeks i mailed the bloke about it and he said it had been shipped, gave me a shipping code, which had went to Canada on February 3rd. When infact i clearly live in UK and it hadn't even bought the shit till Feb 20th. Anyway i e-mailed him back about the Shipping code and he replied saying: oh they share shipping codes sometimes (UPS) and it should be with you soon.

Another week went by and i thought fuck this hes pissin me about, emailed him again a bit more aggresively and he started giving me all this shit about there being a problem, then he turns round and says that there has been a problem, UPS have contacted our Posty and they will get in touch with me in next few days by mail, another week passed. So i send him another messagio this was on 21st march and Escalated a paypal Claim...

Now when i go onto the claim itself on paypal it says he has proven shipping when he fuckin hasn't, paypal are still investigating so fuck know whats goin on.

Sorry to say but if he doesn't keep money in his paypal account then you will not get a penny back, i've had this happen to me recently even though the claim ended in my favour.
He's obviously faked a proof of posting, which is easily done so paypal would probably side with him.

However a crate of cans is gonna be heavy, if it was posted surface mail (the cheapest way) then it has been known to take up to 3 months for things to arrive from the us.
Also don't be suprised if it doesn't get through customs, not sure if you can import things like that? and if it does arrive you may have to pay a duty.

Buying from the usa is not always cheaper in the long run.

I had a similar problem.. I was owed £672 for about a year.. In the end i hired my own collection agency but still never got a penny for 6 months.. I finally got the money 21 months after the original auction.. Paypal are shit when it comes to claims! They always close your account even if your not at fault! :n:
