bmc kit help

jus instald my new kit changed from a k&n to bmc and wot a difference vry plzd with it, but i opend my bonet to check everything eos ok and the pipes goin to and from the box wer prity hot, is this normal??? bein a cold intake?????

have you got any pics anywhere of yours mate, would be interested in seeing what it looks like.

i've got a samco hose attached from the top, and that is always ok to the touch, but the plastic housing from the front, is always well hot. I think it's safe to say that the saxo engine is one hot moma!!!! and anything in there will get hot.

personally i wouldnt bother mate on a 1.1, as ya say ya wouldnt see much diff. and thats coming from me who sells the things. i wouldnt rip ya off mate
