Just wondering if any one else has bought these before and fitted them to a MK2 Saxo. my main concern is that they may be made to fit and align up with the Saxo VTS/VTR style bumpers. since mine is only a 1.1 it does not have the extra width on the back and front bumpers.

Heres the Link

id love to put the arches on my saxo but not have that "un-finished" look to it. i would prefer to have the arches flow into the bumper or fade out right as it meets the bumper.. any one got any advice / link to a place were i might be able to get get direct fit ones. ?

There was a link there last night, i remember reading but forgot to post

The arches that you showed were ones specially designed for the base model cars such as yours. They are a sort of replica if you like of the VT kit arches.

They are a good fit and look ok when colour coded. If you have a bit more money to spend though you cant beat fitting the real thing :)

Heres the link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190103951396&rd=1&rd=1)again.

I have gotten a set of front and rear bumper spoilers for next to nothing, so this is why i am not going for a full VT kit.

Like the Ford Mk3 Fiesta's and the Mk3 & Mk4 Escorts becuase the arch set from the highest spec'd car ie RS's and XR's where easy to copy and thats what people wanted there wasnt much call for different arches for these cars and the same goes for the Saxo.

Becasue everyone wants the VT kit there isnt much in the way of different arch kits unless you go for a mosnter wide arch kit.

Take alook on www.tuning.co.uk as they do a low budget arch set for the flat arch / base model saxo - Its not a VT kit but it does give the car a more rounded look to the arches. Fitting a VT kit can be done but the rear arches need to be cut as they are lower than the VT kitted saxo's
