i got a quote from a breakers in england for full kit, they said 500£!!!:panic: so im thinking of putting a dimma kit on for far cheaper. the only thing is i think it will make the car far slower is this true??? it is only a 1.1 like:homme:

The dimma kit will still need the VT arches I think as the Dimma bumpers bond over the top of the VT bumpers.

Any thing large will add weight to a car and a bodykit more than anything as with larger bumpers with bits sticking out every which way you could be adding alot of drag to the car but thats abit extreme.

You might be better off sourching a kit designed for the flat arch saxo rather than trying to find a kit for a VT kitted car AND the VT kit on top.

Try www.essexracing.com and www.tuning.co.uk for bodyparts, both should be able to send to Ireland but worth checking as this will add quite abit to the overall price of the items :y:

You can pick vt kits up on ebay for £200 or less mate

Basically most bodykits are designed in mind to be used with saxos already with the VT arches and bumpers.

These kits can be made to fit the flat arched saxo but wouldnt look quite right.

There are a few kits out there designed juts for flat arched saxos, which may work out cheaper than soruchin and paintin/fitting a VT kit then buyin different bumper etc

But like mention VT kits can be found alot cheaper on eBay. Delivery costs may be a problem to Ireland though

Reckon that with a large aftermarket kit with spoiler the works you might tho more so on a smaller engine car than a bigger engined car

how much will you pay for the full vtr kit with everything you need?? does any1 no wer to get them because ebay always seem to have bits missing!

Go on to www.tuning.co.uk as they sell each VT kit component on its own. Might work out more expensive but it would give an idea of what costs what.

You might also beable to fine somewhere that produces the VT kit in fibre glass which will probally make it cheaper than plastic items like OE factory fitted.

Why dont you just be a bit patient and go to all your local scrappy's frequently, waiting for one to come in?

Or just save up and buy it for a bit more.

Check out the for sale section on here frequently, there ones on there every now and then.

Hope i helped.

they fit in with vtr/vts/furio style bumpers. dont fit the 1.1 bumpers as far as i know, maybe with modification but not likely.

a proper dimma kit costs a fair bit more than £500

an immitation dimma will be a fair bit less but will show as it'll be a poor fit & u'll probably have to modify it to fit the way it should.

why not just take ur time & phone round ur local scrappies leaving ur number with the yard so u get a buz everytime a VT* comes in...
