Arch work needed to fit them though, so not straight forward.

Can be done by yourself or by a bodyshop, but expect them to charge anywhere up to £200, alternatively you could pay to be a premium member on here and use the how-to guides which shows how to do the relevant arch work for fitting 17's.
My advice would be to get 16's with a 195/40 profile tyre and they'll fit with no work, even when lowered 60mm.

cheers but its not for me. Im selling my 17s on ebay and someone asked if they would fit a westcoast.

Quite afew people have to remove their plastic arch lining to give more room in the arches if thats any help to you.
Seen 19's on a Saxo so anything is possible with the rite amount of work

I have 16" on my 1.1 but you do need alot of time to work on the arches also remove the inner liners/!
