just had my rear pads changed and a new caliper on the passenger side an now i have this serious ping noise which i think is coming from the rear, its damn loud.
am guessing its the ping noise described in the FAQ so is it right i just jack the rear up, take the wheels off an then take out that specific bolt grease it up an put it back in?
aw an another thing when i put my vts wheels on i got the bolts for it aswell but now when i try to use the wrench i have with the car to take them off its not the right size  what do i need?
thanks

but not too tight right dont wanna feck the threads

yeah jusy jack rear off take wheel off and tighten
so i should be able to go out to say halfords since its close an buy myself something to take off the standard 19mm wheel bolts
the plates are 13mm bolts
an yeah thought they were that, well thats what the FAQ says lol

torx bolts hold the torsion bars in place, 13mm hex holds the arb end plates on :)

well i went to halfords today as my mate could get the tools on trade
an when i was in his boss came over an started sayin he's owned a few saxo's an doesnt think it'll be this, most likely be some kinda rubber thats pershied that holds the spare wheel cage in place. then started going on about all this other stuff that should be going wrong soon like power steering pump etc
kinda pissed me off.

Trust me its the arb plates defo, did it on mine afew weeks ago and it aint made a sound since, make sure they are tight but dont over do it, tried to get mine out the weekend to lower the back end and one of the bolts snapped which is now proving to be a pain it the arse!
And yep it does tend to sound worse when wet

finally got round to doin this today as we've had crappy weather for a few days.
the bolt at one side just would not budge but the washer was able to spin so am guessin it wasnt in tight, the passenger side was done nice an easy though.
i havnt had the noise for a few days anyway so its just waiting now to see if the noise comes back
