OK cheerz guys i got sum good ideas of the kind of subs im after. However, i dont know what amp to get to run certain subs. Is there a way to work out wot power amps to get to run wot power subs. is it a case of 'if i get a 1000w rms sub then i need an amp that will give it 1000w??' I dont really wanna go to a shop for advice as they tend to try to make you buy their favourite stuff!!

match sub and amps up by the rms rating, if you can get an amp that actually exceeds the rms rating and you can turn the gain down so that the amp isnt working as hard
