Well two questions i have....

1. taking off the rocker cover (furio) how simple is it? and what do i need/should replace when putting it back on?

2. i wanna spray my OMP strut brace, can i buy a new sticker from somewhere or what as i want it to be on there still when ive sprayed it.

cheers

Rocker cover is a piece of cake, 8 T25 torx screws I think!

Pretty sure you can buy stickers from the dealers that sell OMP.

the rocker cover is held on by two 10mm nuts, you might find it easier to take the coil pack off aswell which again is held on by two 10mm bolts

be carefull when you take it off and keep it level as there is like a tray with two spacers which you do NOT want to drop into the engine.

you might want to replace the rocker cover seal before you put it back on

as for an OMP sticker im sure that you can buy them off ebay

ok cheers guys, im on abit of a spraying mission at the moment :p pics will be shown when finished. how much am i looking at for a new seal?

how easily will it come off after undoing the 2 nuts?

your looking at under £5 for a seal, it will come off without taking the coil pack off but sometimes the seal catches on the coil pack which makes it hard to get the rocker cover off. you could also take the bracket off that holes your wire for your lambda sensor away from the manifold heat shield to give you some more room, its a 10mm or 13mm bolt.

what colour you going?

make sure you have plenty of laquer on it and that its properly dry before you put it back on. when you do come to put it back on i found it easier to put the tray on, then the spracers then the rocker cover on top of that

colour is going to be this:

no laquer applied in that pic.

what you think? so far i've done manifold and ECU (still need to apply laquer) and looking to do that above two, rocker and strut :)

How much am i looking at for a new seal?

I couldn't find any new on the net, and didn't want a second hand one. So I've ordered one from Citroen, there £14.XX for the seal new.
