My car seems to have started rubbing on the rear drivers wheel when im driving along. never used to do this (car has been lowered for a couple of years without nay problems).

I have got a couple of subs in the boot that are quite heavy (these have been in the car for a while to)

it seemed to coincide when i gave a mate home (hes guite large so when i heard the rubbing i made him walk home).

Any ideas ??? , could it be i have damaged my rear suspension or something. It seems to be catching on the underneath the boot that is right behind the wheel.

What sort of rubbing?

Metal on metal?

My bet it is the rear quarter splash panel rubbing on the inside of the tyre.
The plastic rivets work their way loose and then get worn down so they no longer hold it in the correct position.
