I need a new front windscreen for a saxo 3dr, just been quoted £150 all in includeing vat. From Auto Windsheild. Can anyone beat that or know where I can get one cheaper??

what about doing it through the insurance will only cost you your windscreen excess and won't affect your ncb

yeah isurance should pay for it mate, usually have to pay an excess, i actually payed for cover on the windscreen and got id done for free a think or it may have been i pay the first 50 not sure :y:

Yeah, I was going to suggest insurance but I don't know how yours works mate.

I pay £70 excess and I get a new windscreen fitted by Auto Windscreens (RAC).

i paid £90 for mine, not through insurance as i wasnt fully comp at the time.
It was supplied and fitted by a local place by me.

need mine doing too, nearly have a crack from one side to half way across the windscreen.

With windows, local companies will usually charge about a third of the price that the big companies with the 'brand name' do. Have a look n the local business book mate

When I hadf the car resprayed I had brand new front and rear screens fitted for £160. Why don't you ask a few bodyshops if they can suggest anyone?
