seat belt pre-tensioners

if ya put racin seats in ta saxo but do not change the steerin wheel, will the orange light on the dash stil flash. Also are the seat bel tensioners useless after ya reconnect them after puttin ya racin seats in?

i have just fitted buckets and i have set it up so i can use my front seat belts or harnesses and i can still use the back seats as wellsmileys/smiley17.gif

if you intend to just use harnesses then unbolt the pretensioners off the old seat, reconnect them and cable tie to the underneath of the new seat. This stops the light flashing BUT i dont know if the airbag system will work correctly...

but its not going to matter if the airbag goes off in a crash because with the harnesses your not going to reach the airbag anywaysmileys/smiley17.gif

they will work if you put a fake seatbelt piece in it smileys/smiley2.gif so that i thinks its beeing used
